CHATEAU SIGNAC

A winegrowing region full of history, sun- bleached lands, white stone farmhouses. Around a curve in the road, a rocky promontory: the Dent de Signac looks over the Cèze valley where the vineyards, with their old fortified farm, had already acquired their reputation in the 17th century.

Château Signac, in the Côtes du Rhône Villages, is one of these unique sites which slowly reveal their mysteries. The access to the Château is through the vineyards. A shady alley leads to the elegant and discreet country houses, which can be first glimpsed, then progressively discovered. A time- less domain is then revealed.

Around a square farmyard, stone buildings and thick walls which protect from the harshness of the sun. Like an invitation to take your time, taste the wine, in the shade on the terrace. In one glance you can overlook the surrounding vineyards. On this rocky land, mixed with clay and sand, grow the grape varieties which make up these elegant and generous wines...
